Reiki in the Time of Covid-19

 

May 22, 2020  — Exhale…. I will be re-opening my practice  June 2.   Classes will be one-on-one for now unless two students come together.  There is a waiting list of students which I will address first, so new enquiries will be scheduled from mid-June.

May 6, 2020 – Almost everywhere in the world, our lives have gone  into pause mode.  I suspended my physical Reiki practice in mid-March, and followed the rest of the world into retreat.

Gratitude to all of my students and clients who have contacted me since then. Almost every day I hear from someone I’ve trained or treated, from all corners of the earth.  Some have questions about their practice.  Some are checking on my welfare, bless them. Some are struggling in these times of great uncertainty.

It can be a challenge to find and keep our balance these days.  Fundamentally, Reiki is about balance.  If you’ve been trained in Reiki, incorporating it into your daily routine can be a powerful tool for mental and physical well-being.  Meditation is Reiki’s close friend.  Give yourself these gifts of calm, quiet space.

Be good to yourself. Limit your time watching the news. Embrace fearlessness. Keep your balance.
